McGraw-Hill Ryerson is organized into three divisions namely: School, Higher Education, and Professional.
The School Division publishes resources for the elementary and secondary school market in all provinces and territories. We meet the requirements of the various departments of education in Canadian authorship, content, manufacturing and quality. The Elementary & Secondary Education Division publishes in the areas of mathematics, science, social studies and history, literacy, business education and family studies. Teacher’s materials, on-line applications, test banks, and workbooks are produced to accompany many of these texts.
Higher Education publishes and distributes learning materials and solutions for use in post-secondary educational institutions in business and economics, the sciences, engineering, math, computer science, the social sciences, and humanities. Indigenous publications in addition to Canadian adaptations of world-leading McGraw Hill Higher Education works make up the majority of the Higher Education list. Growth of our digital products and services—such as the success of McGraw-Hill ConnectTM, the next-generation online learning solution—is a reflection of both the need for customized, technology-enabled solutions, and McGraw-Hill Ryerson’s ability to meet customer demands. MHR continues to lead the industry in partnership and development initiatives that provide educators the opportunity to evaluate our works in digital form, and students the ability to consume them in digital form, thereby reducing our environmental footprint and the cost to students and their institutions. Through our online course content with integrated online assessment, study, and adaptive learning tools, and with seamless Learning Management Systems integration, faculty are able to integrate our new learning technologies into their teaching strategies and offer students a dynamic learning environment in combination with our industry-leading content.
The Professional Division markets and distributes books and digital products on a wide array of subjects. McGraw-Hill, our parent company, has a broad product line which includes business, professional, medical, general interest and consumer.
